- VDA 6.3 Process Audit (structured per VDA 6.3 methodology)
- IATF 16949 Second-Party Audit
- Audit Preparation & Gap Analysis
- On-site Audit Execution
- Corrective-Action (CAPA) Closure

How it runs
- 01
Prepare
Scope, process selection and a gap analysis against the relevant requirements, with the audit plan agreed up front.
- 02
Audit on-site
Process audit structured per VDA 6.3 methodology (P2–P7, with scoring and starred questions) or against IATF 16949 — evidence-based, on the floor.
- 03
Report findings
Scored, prioritized findings with clear evidence and risk — written so the auditee can act, not just file them.
- 04
Close corrective actions
CAPA facilitation and verification, so root causes are fixed and findings stay closed at the next audit.
Typical use cases
- A customer requires a second-party VDA 6.3 or IATF 16949 audit of a supplier.
- You want to audit your own sub-suppliers (tier-2/tier-n) before they cause escapes.
- You are preparing for a certification or customer audit and want a gap analysis first.
- Past audit findings keep reopening because corrective actions were never verified.
- You need to ready your QMS for the ISO 9001:2026 transition.
Frequently asked questions
Are these VDA-certified audits?
No. Qualiteh is not accredited by VDA QMC, and we never present audits as VDA-certified. Our audits are structured per VDA 6.3 methodology — the same process logic, scoring (0/4/6/8/10), P2–P7 elements and starred questions — delivered by experienced practitioners. For a VDA-accredited certificate you go directly to VDA QMC.
What is a second-party audit?
A second-party audit is one organization auditing its supplier (or its own sub-supplier), as opposed to an internal first-party audit or a third-party certification audit. It is how customers verify supplier capability before and during a nomination.
Is IATF 16949 changing in 2026?
The current standard is IATF 16949:2016, governed by the IATF Rules 6th Edition (in force since January 2025) and its November 2025 Sanctioned Interpretations. A 2nd edition of IATF 16949 is expected to publish in 2027, after ISO 9001:2026. We prepare you for both — but there is no 2026 IATF standard to certify against.
Do you only audit, or do you help close the findings?
Both. The value is in closure: we facilitate corrective actions, verify root cause and effectiveness, and confirm the findings stay closed — so the audit changes the process rather than producing a list that reopens next cycle.
